Principles for Responsible Investment

Blue Marble Capital Management Limited is a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The Principles for Responsible Investment were developed by an international group of institutional investors reflecting the increasing relevance of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues to investment practices. The process was convened by the United Nations Secretary-General.

Becoming a signatory to the PRI means that as an institutional investor we have committed to the following:

• We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
• We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
• We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
• We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
• We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
• We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.

Blue Marble Capital Management Limited is committed to the PRI and has incorporated them into our ESGC Investing™ methodology. We also incorporate them into the day to day operations of our firm. We encourage all investors to understand and apply the PRI when it comes to managing their investments.

Blue Marble Capital Management Limited manages investments for individuals and institutions using our ESGC Investing™ methodology. PRI is embodied within ESGC Investing™ and in fact we build upon it. Our investment management practice is dedicated to incorporating non-financial environmental, social, governance, and carbon assessment into the investment process for the benefit of our clients and all involved stakeholders.

Carbon Disclosure Project

The Carbon Disclosure Project is an independent non-profit organization that has compiled the largest database of corporate climate change information for publicly traded corporations.

The Carbon Disclosure Project has over 385 signatory institutional investment firms representing over $ 50 Trillion in investment assets with the singular goal of making climate change disclosure transparent and part of the normal disclosure process for corporations.

Blue Marble Capital Management Limited is a signatory and supports the work of the Carbon Disclosure Project. We encourage all publicly traded firms to learn about and begin disclosing firm specific climate change information and to participate in the annual surveys.
